About Us

Playful Connections Speech Therapy is a neuro-affirming child led speech language therapy service. We believe that all forms of communication should be honored and that connection, regulation and play are important components of learning and language development. We encourage caregiver participation to promote carryover and generalization. Our therapy services are provided in-home.

Our Services

  • Speech Language Therapy

    Playful Connections Speech offers child-led speech language therapy sessions. Goals and therapy sessions are personalized to build upon your child’s current skills and strengths in order to encourage language development. Sessions can take place in your home or in the community.

  • Speech and Language Evaluations

    Speech language evaluations are an important tool in determining your child’s current communication strengths and needs. Evaluations can give insight to your child’s articulation (speech sound production), functional communication, receptive language, expressive language and/or pragmatic language.

    Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations can also be completed upon request to identify if and what AAC system(s) might be beneficial for your child’s functional communication skills.

  • Consults and Parent Coaching

    Playful Connections Speech incorporates caregiver coaching into our therapy sessions but can also provide coaching and consultations with your child’s other providers to learn strategies and techniques to encourage language growth across environments.
